- Account information — your email address, used to send a one-time sign-in link and to associate the reports you purchase with your account.
- Business information you provide — the business name, website, and location you enter so we can build your report.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our systems; we retain a record of the purchase and a Stripe identifier.
- Usage and device data — basic analytics about how the Service is used (for example via PostHog), such as pages viewed and actions taken.
- Publicly available business data — to produce a report, we gather information about a business and its local competitors from public sources: Google organic and Google Maps local-pack results across a geo-grid, Google search volume, Google reviews and Google Business Profile data, an on-page crawl of the business's own website, backlink and business-listing/citation data, AI-answer presence (whether a business is named when AI assistants recommend local providers), local community and press signals, and US Census household data used for demand weighting. This is public information about businesses, not private personal data.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service — including generating reports and the member dashboard.
- To process payments and provide access to the reports you have purchased.
- To communicate with you about your account, purchases, and updates.
- To understand and improve product performance and reliability.
How we share information
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including: Supabase (database, authentication), Stripe (payments), and PostHog (product analytics). We also use third-party search-intelligence and data providers — including DataForSEO, AI-optimization APIs, and the US Census — to gather the public business and demand data used in reports. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Service.
Data retention
