Local Known is a local-visibility scorecard and coaching tool for local service businesses. It analyzes public web and search-intelligence data — including Google organic and Maps local-pack results across a demand-weighted geo-grid, reviews and Google Business Profile data, an on-page crawl of the business's site, backlinks and citations, AI-answer presence, local community signals, and US Census demand data — to estimate how findable a business is in local search relative to its competitors. It provides a 0–100 score across five pillars, names a leading competitor, and offers recommendations and ongoing tracking.
We use a one-time email sign-in link to authenticate you. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. The reports you can access are those associated with your account.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access data you are not entitled to, disrupting the Service, or using it to violate any law or third-party rights.
Reports and scores are estimates derived from public data and modeled assumptions. They are provided for informational purposes and are not guarantees of search ranking, leads, revenue, or any specific outcome. Public data and third-party platforms change, and results may vary. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.
The Service relies on third-party sources and providers — for example Google, DataForSEO, AI-optimization APIs, the US Census, Supabase, Stripe, and PostHog. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data or services.
The Service, including its scoring methodology, software, and content, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service and your reports for your own business purposes.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with law.
